Un paesaggio dalla luminosità abbagliante, lo stesso che troviamo passando nelle zone coltivate della valle dell’Arno dove la colza in fiore si fiancheggia ai papaveri.

Uno spettacolo unico che si ripete ogni anno e che ha sicuramente stregato Scatizzi, riuscendo a farci rivivere ogni giorno quella gioia per gli occhi attraverso questo dipinto.

La sensorialità è una caratteristica immancabile ed irrinunciabile nella lettura delle opere dell’artista toscano. Egli stesso tenta irrefrenabilmente di prenderci per mano per portarci in quei luoghi che lo hanno catturato.

Un paesaggio come questo cattura inevitabilmente quelle anime gentili che si fanno ancora stupire dalla bellezza della semplicità.

Una contrapposizione cromatica tanto netta e calzante da darci la sensazioni di due mari al cui contatto si forma un confine inaspettato, allo stesso modo abbiamo queste due masse, la gialla e la rossa, che si toccano ma senza mescolarsi.

A landscape of dazzling brightness, the same as we find as we pass through the cultivated areas of the Arno valley where the blossoming rapeseed is flanked by poppies.

A unique spectacle that is repeated every year and that has certainly bewitched Scatizzi, managing to make us relive that joy for the eyes every day through this painting.

Sensoriality is an unfailing and indispensable feature when reading the Tuscan artist’s works. He himself irresistibly tries to take us by the hand to take us to those places that have captured him.

A landscape like this inevitably captures those gentle souls who are still amazed by the beauty of simplicity.

A colour contrast so stark and fitting that it gives us the feeling of two seas at whose contact an unexpected boundary forms, in the same way we have these two masses, the yellow and the red, touching but not mixing.
