Un’opera eseguita da uno Scatizzi trentanovenne, nella mansarda fiorentina, dove era in affitto, al nº3 di Via de’ Federighi, come da lui accuratamente specificato sul retro.

La prima cosa che ci trasmette è freschezza!!

Quella genuina freschezza data dalla sperimentazione, un uso diverso del colore utilizzato con un fare più libero e spregiudicato rispetto ai canoni del momento.

Una vivacità percepibile anche nella scelta stessa dei toni, in grado di generare una esaltazione vicendevole ed accattivante.

I frutti hanno un turgore unico sebbene siano caratterizzati dalla semplicità di pochi tocchi ma bene congeniati.

Possiamo facilmente osservare come quelle che paiono pesche aperte mostrino il loro tipico colore aranciato e lo sfumare verso il porpora nella parte attaccata al nocciolo. 

Allo stesso modo ne possiamo osservare le analoghe caratteristiche del frutto distaccato sulla destra.

I fiori invece tradiscono quella genuinità agreste ormai da molti cercata e difficilmente trovata.

Fiori variopinti che mischiano le loro corolle multicolore in un mazzo dalla costruzione casuale, in grado di affascinare per le sue pure e semplici caratteristiche di spontaneità.

A work executed by a thirty-nine-year-old Scatizzi in the Florentine attic where he was renting, at No. 3 Via de’ Federighi, as he carefully specified on the back.

The first thing he conveys to us is freshness!

That genuine freshness given by experimentation, a different use of colour used with a freer and more unconventional approach than the canons of the moment.

A liveliness perceptible even in the very choice of tones, capable of generating a mutually enhancing and captivating exaltation.

The fruits have a unique turgidity even though they are characterised by the simplicity of a few but well-conceived touches.

We can easily observe how what appear to be open peaches show their typical orange colour and fade towards purple in the part attached to the stone.

Likewise, we can observe the similar characteristics of the detached fruit on the right.

The flowers, on the other hand, betray that rustic authenticity now sought after by many and hardly found.

Multicoloured flowers that mix their multicoloured corollas in a randomly constructed bouquet, able to fascinate by its pure and simple characteristics of spontaneity.
