È interessante osservare come la storia dell’arte abbia compiuto negli anni sempre maggiori schematizzazioni, nella speranza di rendersi maggiormente comprensibile ai neofiti o comunque per permettere una conoscenza per sommi capi ai ragazzi in età scolare.

L’Informale ad esempio viene divisa tra gestuale e materica, in alcuni casi però questo velo di demarcazione è così labile da scomparire.

È questo il caso di Scatizzi, artista informale sui generis, che riesce ad essere necessariamente entrambe le cose e spessissime volte senza abbandonare la componente figurativa ed i retaggi classici che la accompagnano.

La bellezza di Scatizzi è proprio il fatto che l’approccio cambia sempre in relazione alla singola opera.

In questo caso l’Informale si fà ammiccante nei confronti dell’Astrattismo, almeno nel titolo, mentre come un amante stregato compone una nuova dichiarazione verso la sua amata “materia” cercando una volta di più di rendere una tangibile fissità di quel liquido tanto bramato.

It is interesting to observe how art history has become increasingly schematised over the years, in the hope of making itself more comprehensible to neophytes or in any case to enable schoolchildren to get to know it in brief.

Informal art, for example, is divided between gestural and material art, but in some cases this demarcation veil is so blurred that it disappears.

This is the case with Scatizzi, an informal artist sui generis, who manages to necessarily be both, and often without abandoning the figurative component and the classical legacies that accompany it.

The beauty of Scatizzi is precisely the fact that the approach always changes in relation to the individual work.

In this case, the Informal becomes winking towards Abstractionism, at least in the title, while like a bewitched lover he composes a new declaration towards his beloved ‘matter’, trying once again to render a tangible fixity of that much yearned-for liquid.
