Alle volte dipinti materici come quello che vi presentiamo ci riportano alla memoria particolari ricordi.

Ci viene perciò in mente ad esempio il primo premio, vinto da Scatizzi, alla Martinicca in un concorso di arte e poesia.

In quell’occasione si palesò la simpatica iniziativa da parte del rinomato ristorante di trasformare la mano di Scatizzi da pittore a pasticcere.

In quel caso lo strumento era il medesimo, la spatola, la tela però venne soppiantata da un grande pandispagna ed i colori ad olio da varie tonalità di panna colorata.

Scatizzi divertito, si prestò volentieri alla simpatica iniziativa, ben presto messosi a dipingere ne nacque un meraviglioso paesaggio, il quale venne poi sporzionato ed offerto agli avventori.

La goliardia ed ironia di Scatizzi ebbero campo libero insieme a tante risate.

Quest’opera dalle sue tonalità che passano dal pastello a sfumature più cariche e squillanti ci riporta alla mente proprio quei momenti di spensieratezza e condivisione.

Sometimes material paintings like the one we are presenting bring back particular memories.

We are therefore reminded, for example, of the first prize, won by Scatizzi, at Martinicca in an art and poetry competition.

On that occasion, it was a nice initiative on the part of the renowned restaurant to transform Scatizzi’s hand from painter to pastry chef.

In that case the tool was the same, the spatula, the canvas however was replaced by a large sponge cake and the oil colours by various shades of coloured cream.

Scatizzi, amused, willingly lent himself to the nice initiative, and soon began to paint, resulting in a wonderful landscape, which was then dirtied and offered to patrons.

Scatizzi’s goliardia and irony were given free rein along with much laughter.

This work, with its tones that range from pastel to brighter, brighter hues, brings to mind precisely those moments of light-heartedness and sharing.
