L’opera di Giuseppe Menozzi che vogliamo presentarvi oggi mostra ancora il barlume di un retaggio figurativo facilmente identificabile negli elementi gialli al centro della composizione, sebbene descritti solo attraverso un tratto perimetrale; vi si possono infatti osservare due gruppi composti entrambi da due persone ed in ognuno di essi una figura è eretta mentre l’altra è inginocchiata o chinata.

Questi due raggruppamenti vanno a definire un “Dialogo” appunto, ma al centro del quale, sebbene ad un livello superiore ad esse, vi è il Tau che esercita una sorta di magnetismo cromatico ed energetico sull’intera raffigurazione.

Questo ci porta ad interpellarci se tale conversazione sia veicolata dal Tau oppure se esso ne sia il risultato imprescindibile. Una duplice lettura che trova però sempre la medesima soluzione.

Il dipinto è stato inoltre esposto durante l’importante manifestazione artistica milanese del 2015 “L’Arte e il Tempo”, mostra collettiva tenutasi in occasione di Expo.

The work by Giuseppe Menozzi that we would like to present to you today still shows the glimmer of a figurative heritage easily identifiable in the yellow elements in the centre of the composition, albeit described only by means of a perimeter line; in fact, two groups can be observed, both composed of two persons, and in each of them one figure is standing while the other is kneeling or stooping.

These two groupings define a ‘Dialogue’ precisely, but at the centre of which, albeit at a higher level than them, is the Tau that exerts a sort of chromatic and energetic magnetism over the entire depiction.

This leads us to question whether this conversation is conveyed by the Tau or whether it is the inescapable result of it. A dual reading that always finds the same solution.

The painting was also exhibited during the important 2015 Milanese art event ‘L’Arte e il Tempo’, a group exhibition held on the occasion of Expo.
