“Oltre il ponte” è l’opera di Giuseppe Menozzi che vogliamo presentarvi oggi, facente parte del periodo dei Cavalieri dell’Apocalisse.

Questo dipinto parla di transizione, di morte, di rinascita e quindi inevitabilmente di vita.

Figure terrene e spirituali si accalcano, fremendo e correndo verso la luce, la vera fonte di salvezza e di vita.

Un passaggio verso una dimensione nuova ma ignota, un varco che può condurre all’eternità ma di cui non abbiamo certezza, oppure verso una nuova vita reincarnata.

Le teorie religiose e scientifiche si sprecano in vani tentativi per dare risposte per quel momento, quello che vediamo oggi però è una rappresentazione di fiducia e di istinto cui le anime tendono spontaneamente verso quell’enigmatico varco di luce.

This painting speaks of transition, death, rebirth and thus inevitably of life.

Earthly and spiritual figures crowd together, quivering and running towards the light, the true source of salvation and life.

A passage to a new but unknown dimension, a gateway that may lead to eternity but of which we have no certainty, or to a new reincarnated life.

Religious and scientific theories are wasted in vain attempts to give answers for that moment, what we see today, however, is a representation of trust and instinct to which souls spontaneously tend towards that enigmatic gateway of light.
