In questo meraviglioso pastello possiamo ammirare l’incredibile attitudine disegnativa e l’accuratezza nei dettagli di Mario Cavaglieri.

Possiamo osservare Place de la Concorde, piazza parigina nonché simbolo indiscusso di quella supremazia popolare unica del popolo francese.

La raffigurazione è avvenuta sicuramente dal giardino delle Tuileries, nella parte appena rialzata rispetto alla piazza.

Da qui è possibile ammirare anche la vita che anima quei luoghi, persone che passeggiano, altre affacciate a vedere il panorama cittadino, altre ancora intente in conversazioni. 

In lontananza, tra le fronde, è apprezzabile la morbida rotondità del cupolino del Grand Palais.

We can see Place de la Concorde, a Parisian square as well as an undisputed symbol of the unique supremacy of the French people.

The depiction was undoubtedly made from the garden of the Tuileries, in the slightly elevated part of the square.

From here, it is also possible to admire the life that animates these places, people strolling, others looking out over the cityscape, others still engaged in conversation.

In the distance, the soft roundness of the dome of the Grand Palais can be appreciated among the foliage.

Cavaglieri’s interest also extends to the atmosphere; we can in fact perceive the golden autumn warmth that embraces the square and its inhabitants.
