Nico Paladini ha intrapreso una lunga esperienza nel deserto del Sahara.

Questo periodo è stato particolarmente formante per il pittore; esso riesce infatti a carpire aspetti ed elementi rari ed unici di quei luoghi tanto restii alla sopravvivenza umana.

In seguito darà forma ad una serie di dipinti che possiamo definire “avvincenti” come le pagine di un libro.

Quello che colpisce è sicuramente l’aspetto sensoriale che questi dipinti riescono ad emanare.

In “Sahara” possiamo percepire in modo spiccato il caldo asciutto del deserto, dove le sue dune nascono e si spostano per volontà plasmatrice del vento.

Carpiamo altrettanto nitidamente quel silenzio assordante che lo caratterizza, mentre residui di civiltà vengono sgretolati dalle escursioni termiche e dal sole implacabile.

Nico Paladini undertook a long experience in the Sahara desert.

This period was particularly formative for the painter; he was able to capture rare and unique aspects and elements of those places that are so resistant to human survival.

Subsequently, he will give shape to a series of paintings that we can define as ‘compelling’ as the pages of a book.

What is certainly striking is the sensory aspect that these paintings manage to emanate.

In ‘Sahara’ we can distinctly perceive the dry heat of the desert, where its dunes are born and move by the shaping will of the wind.

We can just as clearly perceive that deafening silence that characterises it, while remnants of civilisation are crumbled by temperature fluctuations and the relentless sun.
