La texture della faesite ricorda molto la ruvidezza della tela, questa percezione tattile della superficie è data dalle fibre di legno amalgamate e pressate.

Il motivo del supporto diviene così parte integrante dell’opera riuscendo a dare ulteriore risalto ai lisci coaguli dell’olio.

Dalla faesite la materia emerge in sinuose striature che si trasformano in straordinari ammassi solidi e madidi di vitalità.

Il colore sembra stringersi in un particolare abbraccio con la base.

La rarità del dipinto, oltre all’anno di realizzazione, è da annoverarsi anche per il curriculum essendo stato tra i dipinti scelti per la prestigiosa mostra tenutasi alla Strozzina nel 1982.

The texture of the faesite is very reminiscent of the roughness of canvas, this tactile perception of the surface is given by the amalgamated and pressed wood fibers.

The pattern of the support thus becomes an integral part of the work, managing to further emphasize the smooth clots of the oil.

From the faesite, the material emerges in sinuous streaks that transform into extraordinary solid clusters imbued with vitality.

The colour seems to tighten in a special embrace with the base.

The rarity of the painting, in addition to the year in which it was executed, can also be traced to its curriculum, having been among the paintings chosen for the prestigious exhibition held at the Strozzina in 1982.
