Ogni opera di un artista è unica.

Osservando possiamo ovviamente trovare similitudini e vizi stilistici ma anche caratteristiche specifiche che circoscrivono determinati archi temporali mai più riproposti.

Questa unicità viene data sempre più spesso per scontata, e questo è un grande errore.

Dovremmo rapportarci alle opere come se fossero degli esseri viventi, frutto di un vissuto emotivo ed esperienziale irripetibile.

Nelle varie fasi pittoriche Scatizzi, qui siamo negli anni Novanta, amplifica in maniera esponenziale questi aspetti, ogni dipinto di questo arco temporale è come un preciso viaggio onirico che poi si ripresenta in nuove forme ma in modo completamente diverso, con la dissolvenza di un sogno al risveglio.

Oggi ve ne presentiamo uno dalle dimensioni un po’ più contenute.

Every artist’s work is unique.

When observing, we can of course find similarities and stylistic flaws, but also specific characteristics that circumscribe certain time periods that are never repeated.

This uniqueness is increasingly taken for granted, and this is a big mistake.

We should relate to the works as if they were living beings, the result of an unrepeatable emotional and experiential experience.

In the various pictorial phases Scatizzi, here we are in the 1990s, exponentially amplifies these aspects, each painting in this time span is like a precise dream journey that then reappears in new forms but in a completely different way, with the fading of a dream upon waking.

Today we present to you one that is somewhat smaller in size.
