Scatizzi ha da sempre subito il fascino che un paesaggio riesce a suscitare, sia esso completamente spontaneo o che vi siano degli interventi dell’uomo.

I colori, i contrasti, le sfumature tra una vegetazione e l’altra, generano impatti visivi unici e questa unicità trova ulteriori peculiarità dalla tipologia di luce in grado di accenderne i tratti o di addolcirne le spigolosità.

Qui la tenerezza pastello, sia essa acetosella, malva o semplice trifoglio, veicola il nostro occhio come l’ago di una bussola, facendoci prima scoprire le dolci acque da cui nasce il canneto, per poi ricondurci verso quel cielo terso in cui si affacciano delicate nuvole che paiono specchiare le stesse tonalità pastello.

Una composizione a piani orizzontali ma che tende ad una verticalità sublime grazie a quelle piccole ma studiatissime nuvolette.

Scatizzi has always been fascinated by the fascination that a landscape can arouse, whether it is completely spontaneous or whether there is human intervention.

The colours, the contrasts, the nuances between one vegetation and another, generate unique visual impacts, and this uniqueness finds further peculiarities in the type of light that can brighten its features or soften its angularity.

Here the pastel tenderness, whether sorrel, mauve or simple clover, guides our eye like the needle of a compass, first leading us to discover the gentle waters from which the reeds spring, and then leading us back to that clear sky in which delicate clouds appear to mirror the same pastel shades.

A composition with horizontal planes but tending towards a sublime verticality thanks to those small but very studied clouds.
